Zdeněk is the leader and founder of the Industrial Informatics Group dealing with scheduling, embedded system design, combinatorial optimization, real-time control systems and industrial communication protocols. He acquired and managed several industrial contracts (e.g. Skoda, UniControls, UNIS, AZD, Volkswagen, Rockwell, Air Navigation Services, EATON, Porsche). Zdeněk is teaching a masters course on Combinatorial Optimization with 120 students per year. Furthermore, Zdenek worked for Porsche Engineering Services from 2011 to 2014, where he founded the Mechatronic Group staffed with 16 developers.
