Robotics and Advanced Industrial Production (ROBOPROX)
ROBOPROX is a collaborative research initiative uniting several faculties and universities to build a top-tier research ecosystem in robotics and industrial production. Led by Prof. Zdeněk Hanzálek as the principal investigator, the project strengthens scientific excellence through advanced mathematical modeling, data-driven methods, simulations, optimization algorithms, and formal techniques. Its mission is to help transform Czech and European industries toward more flexible, complex, competitive, and sustainable production by developing foundational concepts, interoperable models, and high-performance tools that current industrial practice lacks. The project partnered are Czech Technical University in Prague, including the Czech Institute of Informatics, Robotics, and Cybernetics (CIIRC), Faculty of Electrical Engineering (FEE), Faculty of Mechanical Engineering (FME), Faculty of Civil Engineering (FCE), Faculty of Information Technology (FIT), and the Institute of Experimental and Applied Physics (IEAP); Brno University of Technology; The University of West Bohemia in Pilsen; and the Technical University of Ostrava.
