Raw Material Optimization in Meat Production
In cooperation with Sabris and MÚÚÚ Písek, we have created an optimization tool that supports decision-making on the purchase and processing of raw materials in meat product manufacturing. The tool solves the complex task of balancing raw materials produced by various methods of meat cutting and their subsequent use in production. The result is a mathematical model and algorithm that can effectively plan the purchase and processing of raw materials in a matter of seconds, whereas manual creation takes many times longer. This result is very important for this type of industry, as it allows manufacturers to respond flexibly to customer demand while efficiently managing input materials.
