Cooperation with First Green Industries

The project deals with the development of an electric skid steer loader for the mining and construction industries. The project focuses primarily on the development of autonomous control of these machines for use in underground spaces where GPS navigation cannot be used. The aim is to increase safety and efficiency and reduce operator requirements in the demanding environment of underground structures.

The main activities of the project include:

  • Development of autonomous navigation using 3D models of the environment

  • Integration of hardware and software for autonomous control and monitoring of the machine and its surroundings

  • Testing of the prototype in real conditions within the Josef Underground Laboratory polygon

Potential applications include the automation of excavation, mining, material transport, construction, and engineering work in hazardous underground environments. The technology also has high potential for broader industrial use in other fields.

The partner of CTU is First Green Industries.
