Viktorie Valdmanová

Viktorie Valdmanová is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Open Informatics, specializing in Artificial Intelligence, at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering (FEE), Czech Technical University in Prague (CTU). She also works as a junior researcher in the Industrial Informatics Group at the Czech Institute of Informatics, Robotics and Cybernetics (CIIRC), CTU. Under the supervision of Přemysl Šůcha, her primary research focus is the optimization of processes and their solution by decomposition methods like branch and price. Viktorie currently studies how decomposition methods can be accelerated by machine learning. A key outcome of her work is the co-authored scientific publication, which appeared in the D1 journal Omega in September 2025.
