About
Přemysl Šůcha is an Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Industrial Informatics at the Czech Technical University in Prague, where he leads research in optimization, scheduling, and industrial informatics. He holds a Ph.D. in Control Engineering and Robotics and has completed postdoctoral research at LAAS-CNRS in Toulouse. His work bridges operations research, artificial intelligence, and real-time control, with applications in healthcare, manufacturing, and energy systems. He has coordinated and contributed to numerous national and European research projects and collaborated with major industrial partners such as Škoda Auto, Continental, ERA, and Beckman Coulter. His publications appear in top journals including European Journal of Operational Research, Computers & Operations Research, and Omega.
