About

Jan Pikman studied Open Informatics program with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence at the​ Czech Technical University (CTU) in Prague. During his studies, he focused on the topic of federated​ deep reinforcement learning. He successfully completed his studies and received the MSc. degree in​ 2024. He works in the Industrial Informatics Group at the Czech Institute of Informatics Cybernetics​ and Robotics (CIIRC), CTU, and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. degree. His current research focuses on​ the optimization of passive surveillance systems based on fast scheduling techniques and the interaction​ of interval-like objects. This is done in cooperation with the Czech defense company ERA a.s.
