Zdeněk Hanzálek is a leading international expert in scheduling for computer and manufacturing systems and a full professor at CTU, also serving as a distinguished researcher at CIIRC CTU. He holds PhD degrees from Université Paul Sabatier Toulouse and CTU, and has gained extensive research experience at LAAS CNRS and LAG INPG in France. He has long-term experience in industrial R&D, including founding the Profibus Association in the Czech Republic and leading the Mechatronics Department at Porsche Engineering Services. At CIIRC, he has headed the Industrial Informatics Department, well known for its strong collaboration with high-tech industry. He is the author of numerous high-impact publications, has coordinated major international projects, and has supervised over twenty successful PhD students.
